Police probing video of criminal activity by individuals in military attire
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) says the police are probing a crime committed by individuals dressed in civilian attire and military uniform, which was recorded on video.
Major Basil Jarrett, in a statement this morning, said the formal investigations are being done with the full involvement, cooperation and support of the JDF.
“The JDF takes very seriously any action that impugns the reputation of the organisation directly or indirectly. The public is assured that the force is committed to upholding its core values as it continues to serve the nation,” Jarrett continued.
The public is being encouraged to report any suspicious or criminal activity by persons wearing military uniform.
