Colonel Daniel Pryce appointed interim executive director for Integrity Commission
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Integrity Commission has appointed Colonel Daniel Pryce as its interim executive director for a period of 12 months, with effect from November 5.
The commission, in a release this afternoon, said the engagement of Colonel Pryce will support its efforts toward the operational and administrative integration of the three “Legacy Agencies” (The Integrity Commission, The Commission for the Prevention of Corruption and The Office of the Contractor General), and is an essential element in engaging of the necessary expertise to develop and implementation of a comprehensive change management and organisational plan.
“The desired strategic outcome is a “fit for purpose” sustainable organisation to support and reinforce the Commission’s role in reducing corruption and improving Jamaica’s standing and alignment with global integrity and anti-corruption standards,” the commission said.
Prior to this appointment, Colonel Pryce was appointed as Commander of all Land Forces of the Jamaica Defence Force, with principal responsibilities for all the Infantry operations islandwide and as Colonel, General Staff of the JDF, with responsibilities for operations, training, intelligence and policies, the commission shared.
He has also served as interim executive director for the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA).
