Two men murdered in Olympic Gardens
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The Hunts Bay police are probing the murder of two men and the injuring of another, on Barbados Road in Olympic Gardens, Kingston 11 last evening.
Dead are 50-year-old Robert Ricketts, a taxi operator of Barbados Road and a man known only as ‘Devon’, also of a Kingston 11 address.
Reports are that about 6:45 pm, the men were playing dominoes when armed men approached them and opened fire.
The police were summoned and on their arrival the men were seen with gunshot wounds.
They were subsequently taken to hospital where Ricketts and ‘Devon’ were pronounced dead and the other man treated and released.
