Double deal!
Khadija “Bunny” Shaw (left) and her Reggae Girlz teammates celebrate a goal against Chile during their second international friendly contest at Montego Bay Sports Complex in Catherine Hall, yesterday.
The prolific Shaw scored in the 22nd and 32nd minutes after Maria Jose Rojas sent the South Americans in front in the 21st minute.
However, Karen Araya restored parity for Chile in the 49th minute before substitute Jody Brown sealed the win with a 66th-minute tap in.
Both teams used the two-game series as part of their Fifa Women’s World Cup preparations ahead of the global showpiece event from June 7 to July 7 in France.
Jamaica won the first contest 1-0 courtesy of a Marlo Sweatman strike at National Stadium last Thursday.
