#Champs2019: KC, Edwin Allen ahead after day four action
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The stage is set for an explosive conclusion to the 109th ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Championships, as Kingston College and Edwin Allen took pole positions at the end of day four at the National Stadium.
The North Street-based Kingston College have so far amassed 180 points, 40 ahead of defending champions Calabar, who are on 140 points after 18 events scored.
Jamaica College (111), St Jago (39) and Wolmer’s Boys (35) make up the top five so far.
On the girls’ side, Edwin Allen the reigning champions hunting a sixth-straight title, ended with a huge lead on 150 points after 20 events scored.
Their closest pursuer Hydel High is on 87 points with St Jago in third on 81 points followed by Holmwood Technical (79) and Rusea’s High (45).
