Sectoral Debate starts next Tuesday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The 2019/20 Sectoral Debate, which commences next Tuesday, April 16, in the House of Representatives, wilt focus on national security.
Minister of National Security, Dr Horace Chang, will open the debate on Tuesday and is expected to close it on Wednesday, May 22.
Opposition spokesman on Mining and Energy, Phillip Paulwell, is also scheduled to speak next Tuesday. Other speakers scheduled for next week are, Minister of Health, Dr Christopher Tufton, and Minister of State in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Floyd Green, on Wednesday.
Ministers and junior ministers speak in the annual debate on issues involving their respective ministries.
