An Afternoon For the Senses

Tuesday Social

Iconic law firm Myers, Fletcher & Gordon (MF&G) celebrated its 75th anniversary with “Sensory,” a memorable evening of art, entertainment and cocktails on Sunday at Boone Hall Oasis in Stony Hill.

The MF&G team incorporated the works of The Rock’s established and up-and-coming creative minds courtesy of the New Wave collective — curators of the music, art, and film components. Epicurean offerings, including speciality cocktails with the MF&G blueprint, were provided by the CPJ team and a spread of local culinary personalities.

Upon entering the venue, guests were introduced to New Wave Street, where a number of local graphic artists, and photographers like Nickii Kane, Symoné Currie, Natali Daley and Natasha Cunningham displayed their works. Thereafter, at the “Sensory” juncture, guests were directed down “MF&G Avenue” to the varying addresses: Sound Street, for live performances on the hour from songbirds Amanyea and Sevana, and reggae band Ziah & The Pushers. Nyammings, offered scrumptious fare from 2K Chefs Kara Pessoa, Board to Belly Chef Jordan Chuck, House of Loaves, Pink Apron, and Christina Azan’s Ballerina’s Bakery.

21 East Street provided artworks from artist/ceramicist Lorrian McMaster, the Artistic Mermaid Anna-K Cuffe, multimedia artist Richard Nattoo, Jude Issa, and inter-disciplinary artist Rebecca Levy.
