Hundreds attend Outsource2Jamaica expo

Players in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry in the island gathered in the second city for the two-day Outsource2Jamaica Symposium and Expo at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in Rose Hall last Thursday and Friday.

The event, an initiative of the Business Process Industry Association of Jamaica (BPIAJ), sought to drive growth and exposure of the Jamaican BPO sector with a view to becoming an even more competitive player in the global services sector.

The 2019 staging featured panel discussions, a youth engagement summit, meetings of the Business 2 Business linkages, a public expo, and an industry awards and VIP luncheon.

Local and international speakers discussed enhancing the value proposition by growing the global services sector value chain, and areas such as robotics processing automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging information technology.
