#Doha2019: Jamaica ends third with a total of 12 medals
Jamaica
won 12 medals at the end of the World Championships in Doha, Qatar on Sunday to
place third on the medals table.
Jamaica
finished behind the United States of America and Kenya. USA won 29 medals with
14 gold, 11 silver and four bronze as Kenya, like Jamaica ended with 11 medals
but with better quality as they won five gold, two silver and four bronze.
Jamaica’s
medals comprised of three gold, five silver and four bronze, to finish ahead of
the Republic of China with nine medals made up of three gold, three silver and
three bronze.
The
top five is completed by Ethiopia with eight medals, made up of two gold, five
silver and one bronze.
