Gas prices down $0.13; diesel up $1.68
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, October 24, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $127.81 and $130.65 per litre, respectively, down by $0.13 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $136.74 per litre following an increase of $1.68 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $1.02, and will be sold for $140.57 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $1.35 and will be sold for $115.60 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $41.30 per litre, up by $0.05 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $47.97 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
