Breast cancer awareness presentation
Jamaica native and breast cancer survivor Marcia Gordon (centre) shares valuable information about breast cancer with Bishop Maurice Clarke (left) and wife minister Annette Clarke, also Jamaicans who are from Trelawny, following a presentation on breast cancer awareness at Central Light Grace Chapel in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida recently. The presentation formed part of the church’s Women’s Ministry Department activities to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A collection was also taken on behalf of the American Cancer Society, while several other churches in the Broward Country area of Florida have pledged to support cancer-related activities in Jamaica, particularly in the western section of the island.
