Three men gunned down in Kgn over weekend
Between Friday and yesterday afternoon three men were killed by gunmen in Kingston.
The first shooting took place on Fleet Street on November 15, 2019, at approximately 6:55 pm. According to the constabulary’s Corporate Communication Unit, 31-year-old Andrew Morgan, otherwise called “Pong”, was sitting on a bench when he was approached by unknown assailant/s who shot him.
He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
The second shooting occurred on McWhinney Street. Police report that approximately 4:30 pm on Saturday, 22-year-old Keith Morrell, a mechanic of Malvern Avenue, Kingston, was standing along the road when armed with guns opened firing, hitting him and another man.
Morrell was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, while the other man was admitted.
Less than 24 hours later, 20-year-old Demar Myers was gunned down.
According to the police, Myers was at his home on Stephen Lane about 2:15 pm when residents heard explosions and summoned the police. When the police arrived, Myers was found with one gunshot wound to his head.
The Elletson Road Police are investigating the killings.
