8-y-o boy stabbed to death during dispute in St Catherine
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica— A mother and her young son were attacked early this morning at their home in Old Habour Village, St Catherine.
According to the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) of the constabulary, about 6:00 am, eight-year-old Aaron Masters and his mother were at home when his mother and the suspect began arguing.
The suspect reportedly stabbed Aaron and his mother with a sharp object.
They were taken to hospital where Aaron died and his mother remains in critical condition.
CCU said the identity of the suspect is being withheld pending further investigation.
