Collie Buddz leads the pack on this week’s Billboard Reggae Albums Chart with Hybrid. Released May 24, it has 10 tracks including collaborations with Stonebwoy, Dizzy Wright, Johnny Cosmic and Tech N9ne.

This is the third chart-topper for Collie Buddz, who made his debut in 2007 with a self-titled album. That set contained the hit song Come Around which peaked at number 47 on the Billboard R&B Hip-Hop Songs Chart.

Born in New Orleans, Collie Buddz (Collin Harper) was raised in Bermuda.

Hybrid brought an end to the 11-week reign of World on Fire by Stick Figure. That album falls to number two.

Ways of The World by The Movement rises from number eight to three, while Local Motion by Pepper stays firm at number four.

Jumping back in the Top 10 at number five is Free Rein by Rebelution, while new at number six is Rudeboy: The Story of Trojan Records (soundtrack album).

Rudeboy has 24 songs from the vaults of the legendary company, that was launched in the United Kingdom in 1968.

Mass Manipulation by Steel Pulse falls from number five to seven, while Everyday Life, Everyday People by Slightly Stoopid hops back onto the chart at number eight.

VP Records is number nine and 10 with Reggae Gold 2019 and Strictly The Best Vol 60, respectively.

Elsewhere, on the Reggae Digital Song Sales Chart, W by Koffee featuring Gunna takes over the number one spot. The song entered last weekend’s British pop chart at number 89.

This is Koffee’s second entry on that chart for 2019, having peaked at number 70 in April with Toast.
