Miss Jamaica World wins Talent competition, advances to top 40
Jamaica’s representative to the Miss World pageant, Toni-ann Singh, has had an excellent start to the competition after she copped the award for best talent yesterday (Dec 10).
This has now propelled her into an automatic top 40 spot in the finals, come Saturday (Dec 14) in London, England. Her talent piece which was a song impressed the judges so much on Tuesday, they had no choice but to adjudge her as the top candidate.
She performed at the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ charity gala
besting Armenia, the British Virgin Islands, Malta and Canada.
Since
this news broke, Jamaica has been going crazy about the young lady whom they
believe is a genuine contender to win the pageant.
Franchise owner and TV personality Dahlia Harris took to Twitter to congratulate Singh on her performance and her advancement to the finals.
