Stop the illegal parties!

Dear Editor,

Is it any wonder why the state of what is happening in Jamaica with the novel coronavirus at this time?

For example, in my area I can hear the noise from sound systems at the obviously illegal parties taking place almost every single day, for months now, and still they are ‘allowed’ to persist with impunity to this very day. I say this despite the fact that the authorities and police have been informed that it happens every day, in the same community.

We need effective action immediately!
