Additional women in Kaylan Dowdie case offered bail
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The three other women who were arrested and charged in relation to the attack on 17-year-old Kaylan Dowdie in November 2020 were offered bail in the Corporate Area Parish Court today.
Timone Williams, Nadine Aldridge and Schakenna McLeod of Grants Pen were offered bail in the sum of $850,000 with daily reporting conditions and a curfew order. As a condition of their bail, all were ordered to reside outside the parish of Kingston and St Andrew.
The matter is next set for mention on June 16.
Dowdie was left nursing major wounds following a clash at an illegal party off Barbican Road in St Andrew on November 7. Five women were charged wounding with intent and unlawful wounding in connection with the beating.
The two other accused, Yolande Vassell and Cassian Lewis, were granted bail in January.
