Gas prices down $0.25, diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, April 28, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $193.64 per litre and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $198.65 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $207.20 per litre after an increase of $4.50, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $209.94 per litre after an increase of $4.50.
Kerosene also increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $180.05 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.00 per litre down by $0.50 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $90.92 per litre after a decrease of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
