#PennRelays: KC win second Penn 4x400m relay in 57 years
PHILADELPHIA, USA – Kingston College won the Championships of Americas high school boys 4x400m relay on Saturday’s final day of the 126th Penn Relays Carnival at Franklin Field, Philadelphia in a time of 3:09.52 seconds, seventh best ever.
Kingston College started attending the Relays in 1964 and won the 4x400m in 1965 but had to wait until this year to get their second, a span of 57 years.
Kingston College led from the start as the team of Amal Glasgow, Shaemar Uter, Emmanuel Rwotomiya and Marchino Rose won by a large margin with Bullis School of Maryland finishing second in 3:11.90 seconds, the best American school so far this year.
St Jago High was third with 3:12.09 seconds; Excelsior High was fourth with 3:12.83 seconds, followed by Edwin Allen High – 3:13.99 seconds, Jamaica College – 3:14.387 seconds and St Elizabeth Technical in seventh in 3:15.65 seconds.
