Poor customer service
Dear Editor,
I’m writing this letter to express my disgust with the way I was treated by my service provider Flow.
On June 1, I went to the Flow office in Bargain Village, May Pen, to seek redress for an issue that I had informed Flow of on numerous occasions, but no one seemed to care enough to render any assistance in getting my issue fixed.
I asked for the manager and was directed to him. I was certain the manager would be able to help me to resolve my issue, but boy was I wrong!
I spoke to the manager outside because I wasn’t allowed into the office, but he seemed to be just going through the motions. However, he promised that he would make checks and come back to me. I waited for almost an hour, if not more, asking on numerous occasions if the manager would come back to speak with me. Eventually, at approximately 2:40 pm, he allowed me inside his building — because surely this must have been his building — given his attitude towards me, a very disgruntled customer at this point.
When I got inside, I started by explaining my disappointment and disgust with his customer service and expressed my disapproval with the way in which my matter was being handled. On top of all this, his attitude towards me, and customer service in general, was poor. He often tried to talk down to me, so the back and forth developed into an argument in the store.
He failed to listen, often rushing to a conclusion. And what was so bad about this particular experience is that he didn’t have the decency to apologise for my struggles with Flow or for how long he had me waiting. It was as if my time didn’t matter to him.
I’m now thinking of cutting ties with Flow completely because of this very horrible experience. And, seriously, if Flow doesn’t remedy this situation, I will be taking these matters to the Office of Utilities Regultion for something to be done.
If and when I go back to Flow to disconnect my service, I don’t want to speak to this individual because he doesn’t have the qualities of a manager. These companies are so rich, yet they treat their customers so poorly.
We the customers demand justice.
