On the Menu — Panini For Ten Thursday Food Readers

There was a definite buzz last Thursday, August 18, at Butcher Block’s latest location Shop #5 Loshusan Plaza.

Jamaica Observer readers were asked to take a copy of the newspaper, and most importantly, the Thursday Food section. Ten readers were able to enjoy a complimentary panino with whatever else they were picking up from the deli. They were not disappointed!

Garrick Communications Ltd lead PR Chick Naomi Garrick, who was customer #1, shared, “I enjoyed my turkey and mozarella panino, it’s a great way to lunch on a Thursday!”

Positive feedback also came from Alexa Hart, operations manager, Iterum Connections, who found her roast beef and mozzarella with Stonewall Kitchen Honey Mustard to be a perfect balance of sweet and savoury and the bread fresh with a good bite.

Huge sandwich lover Angelie Martin-Spencer, principal, Angelie Spencer Home, was effusive in her praise. “I love to incorporate bursts of flavour inside the sandwich, with the perfect crunch on the bread. The salty flavour of the pastrami, contrasted with the Stonewall Kitchen Sweet Apple Cranberry Chutney, mixed with the mozzarella cheese all wrapped inside the crunchy baguette of this toasted panino, was so immensely satisfying… This sandwich meets all requirements for the prefect sandwich. Fresh, good quality and tasty ingredients with fresh bread.”

Try a panino today, with a bottle of wine or a cup of coffee.
