Executive and Director Changes

Clair-Ann Kennedy has been appointed chief executive officer of Supreme Ventures Services Limited effective November 1.

Paula Cameron has been engaged as Honey Bun (1982) Limited’s new financial controller effective August 1.

Dania Jocelyn Heredia Ramirez has resigned from the audit and finance committee of Caribbean Cement Company Limited as of September 16.

Market Sales and Events

An executive of Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited sold 3,904 shares on September 13. A connected party of Mayberry Investments Limited purchased 119,501 shares on September 13 while a senior manager sold 40,000 shares on September 16. A connected party of Mayberry Jamaican Equities Limited purchased 100,000 shares on September 8 while another connected party purchased 4,184 shares on September 12. A director of Future Energy Source Company Limited sold 350,000 shares on September 13. A director of Wigton Windfarm Limited purchased 2,500,000 shares for a consideration of $1.38 million between September 16 to 19. A connected party of Kingston Wharves Limited sold 268 shares on September 19. A senior manager of Seprod Limited sold 7,447 shares on September 1. Margaritaville St Lucia sold 10 million shares of Express Catering Limited at $5 for a consideration of $50 million on September 15. Community & Workers of Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union Limited repurchased 18,802 deferred shares under its share buyback programme between September 12 to 13. A connected party of Massy Holdings Limited purchased 2,222,575 shares at TT$4.65 for a consideration of TT$10,334,973.75 on September 19. JMMB Group Limited’s (JMMBGL) Employee Share Ownership Programme transferred 74,640 shares to a senior executive on September 19. A connected party of JMMBGL sold 100,245 shares on September 20. A connected party of PanJam Investments Limited sold 32,961 shares to three directors who were issued shares in lieu of director fees for Q3 on September 22. A director of Jamaican Teas Limited sold 821,595 shares between August 30 to September 19. A connected party of Tropical Battery Company Limited purchased 7,691,878 shares for a consideration of $20 million on September 20.

FirstRock Real Estate Investments Limited purchased 100,000 shares at US$0.04 for a consideration of US$4,000 on September 7 under the company’s share buy-back programme. FirstRock also purchased 40,000 JMD shares at between $11.67 to $12 on September 15. It was funded from cash on the balance sheet and done through Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited. The maximum number of shares intended to be purchased during the share buy-back programme are 3,825,300 FIRSTROCKJMD shares and 24,777,232 FIRSTROCKUSD shares, being 10 per cent of the company’s shares in issue.

Barita Investments Limited will consider an interim dividend payment at its board meeting tomorrow while TransJamaican Highway Limited will consider a dividend payment on Friday.
