Apple to cut production of iPhone 14 Plus

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apple has cut down production of the iPhone 14 Plus as reports are that the company is re-evaluating the demand for the model.

According to reports, the California-based company told one manufacturer in China to immediately halt production of iPhone 14 Plus components.

The Apple product was unveiled as a part of a new line-up announced on September 7 and is positioned as a cheaper alternative to its more expensive iPhone Pro models and started being shipped to customers on October 7.

Apple dropped its plan to increase production last month of the new iPhone models as an anticipated surge in demand failed to materialise, reports say.
