‘Torch Dem’ to blaze in Mandeville
Manchester-based disc jock DJ Brain is gearing up to host the second staging of his Torch Dem party series.
Scheduled for tonight, Saturday, December 10, Torch Dem takes place at Knox Road, Ward Avenue in Mandeville.
“I always enjoy a street epic effect with torches while DJs are playing. I also enjoy high-energy juggling by DJs in all genres, so the phrase Torch Dem is slang for expressing how I feel about the moment of music,” said DJ Brain.
Torch Dem will feel the musical effects of central Jamaica based DJs including DJ Marvin, DJ Aggressive, DJ Sanjay and DJ Ricky Fresh.
DJ Brain explained what patrons will expect at Torch Dem.
“They can expect the maddest life. Torch Dem will be the ultimate get away experience to kick start the holiday season in central Jamaica. Come out and enjoy the musical vibes as well as our delectable and flavourful menu and stay for the vibrant entertainment brought to you by our star-studded musical lineup.”
A resident of Mike Town in Manchester, DJ Brain has played at a number of top parties and events, including Dubai Lifestyle, Hot Sauce, H20, and Same Flame.
Born Cavaughan Cassells, DJ Brain attended Glenmuir High and later Clarendon College. He played midfield on the daCosta Cup teams for both institutions.
