Munro seek to defend Gridiron League title
Munro College will seek to defend their Secondary Schools Gridiron League championship when they takle Newell High School in an all-St Elizabeth final set for the University of Technology, Jamaica today, starting at 2:00 pm.
The final will be played after the consolation game between beaten semi-finalists May Day High and deCarteret College, which will start at 11:00 am.

In the semi-finals played last weekend, Newell High beat May Day 52-46 after eight overtimes after they were tied 46-all after regulation, while Munro College earned their third straight trip to the championship with a 27-6 win over deCarteret College.
In one game played at May Day High, Newell High led 14-0 with five minutes left in regulation before May Day stormed back to tie up the scores at 14-all.
It took eight overtimes with the teams matching each other before Newell High scored to break the tie.
