DANCEHALL newcomer Omar is hoping to achieve musical success. With some knowledge about the business, he plans to implement strategies to accomplish his objectives musically.

“To be a successful recording artiste has been my lifelong dream, and I intend to make this dream come true. I know it takes more than just talent to make it in the music business; it also takes hard work and dedication — that’s why I’m working overtime to achieve my big break in the music business,” said the singjay.

Omar believes that his unique vocal style will help to make him a household name in dancehall music.

“I’m bringing something fresh to the dancehall game: I sing, deejay and rap. This gives me a clear advantage because I have mastered three different forms of musical expressions; I’m not a one-dimensional artiste,” he reasoned.

His debut single Entrap was released late last year via Omarrecord$.

“I recently released my first single and I am very happy with the response it’s getting,” said the artiste who plans to release a body of work later this year.

“At the moment I am working on my debut album. It should be completed and ready for release very soon. I also plan to drop a few more singles before my album comes out.”
