Gas prices up $3.06, diesel up $0.19
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, February 16, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $3.06, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $170.47 per litre while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $174.45 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $206.03 per litre after an increase of $0.19 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $216.77 per litre up by $0.25.
Kerosene increased by $0.25 and will be sold for $214.55 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $71.57 per litre up by $0.71 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.00 per litre after an increase of $3.06.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
