Thank you, NCB Foundation
Dear Editor,
Kindly grant me space in your prestigious and widely read newspaper to extend commendation and thanks to the NCB Foundation for the work the organisation has been doing to help build a better Jamaica.
I am aware that over the years the NCB Foundation has donated millions of dollars towards vulnerable individuals, groups, and organisations as a means of empowerment and contribution to nation-building. However, I never knew that the foundation was so accessible and accommodating of ordinary individuals and institutions.
In my capacity as dean of discipline at Alston High School in Clarendon I approached the NCB Foundation for assistance with technological devices and equipment for some of our needy students and the response of the foundation was not just in the affirmative, but our school received the donations in very quick time.
Many thanks to Annett Spencer from the Christiana branch, who was very accommodating and supportive throughout the process.
I am acutely aware of the shortage of resources in education; therefore, it would be remiss of me to keep this great news of assistance from NCB Foundation to myself. I am encouraging other educational institutions to explore the possibility of gaining assistance from this organisation.
On behalf of the principal, students, parents, staff, and the entire Alston High School family, I want to publicly extend grateful acknowledgement to NCB Foundation. Keep on inspiring vulnerable individuals, groups, and organisations through your philanthropic initiatives.
The word is always love!
Andre A O Wellington
