Jamaica’s most recognised Carnival band, Bacchanal Jamaica, whet socaphiles’ appetites last Saturday with Rum For Breakfast (RFB) — its hot-ticket, all-inclusive party.
The breakfast, rum, and revelling formula continues to be a winner, luring hundreds to the Sparkles Production-organised event at Hope Zoo. The sizeable crowd raved to energetic sets from, among others, Marlon Musique, Patrick the Hypeman, and DJ Cyclone.
The fête was the perfect warm-up for Bacchanal Friday’s 21st anniversary event and certainly got the countdown started for Carnival Sunday on April 16.
