Junior Reggae Girlz to kickoff Concacaf U-20 qualifiers against Anguilla
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Under-20 Reggae Girlz are set to face Anguilla in the qualification round of the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship at the Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua on Friday.
The Jamaicans were drawn in Group E alongside Honduras, Bermuda, Anguilla and French Guiana.
The qualifiers, which run up to April 23, comprise 32 teams across six groups. Each team will play one match against all its group opponents in round-robin play, with the winner of each group advancing to the 2023 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in the Dominican Republic, slated for May 24 – June 3.
The top three finishers (finalists and third place match winner) will qualify for next year’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
