Masked man opens fire on vendor in Brown’s Town market
ST ANN, Jamaica – At least two men were rushed to hospital on Saturday morning after a masked man opened fire in the Brown’s Town market, in St Ann.
Police reports are that around 6:00 am, a masked man walked up to a food vendor and fired on him several times in the busy market space.
OBSERVER ONLINE understands that an employee of the St Ann Municipal Corporation was also hit by a bullet.
Vendors and shoppers were seen running from the establishment, causing chaos on the busy streets of Brown’s Town. However, the shooter escaped.
One of the men hit is said to be in a critical condition, having sustained injury to his upper body and leg.
