Keep It Coming is the first single to be released from recording artiste I-Octane’s forthcoming album Dancehall Gift.

The recording artiste said the support he garners for every project lies within his uniqueness as an entertainer.

“The reception is beautiful so far on the song. What [sets] me apart from a lot of artistes throughout the years of my music career is that I always invest in growth and reinvent my brand every five years. Plus, I am an independent artiste almost 20 years now,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

Produced by ZJ Liquid, Keep It Coming was released on May 26, while the full-length album is slated for release at the end of June.

Dancehall Gift follows his 2022 album I Am Great.

Meanwhile, the long-time singer said that, while dancehall music has changed over the years, there are several areas which need improvement for the industry to thrive.

“My thoughts on how dancehall music has changed over years is that changes are very imperative. The only problem I have is that we need a structure and some unity,” he said.

I-Octane further added a word of encouragement for his up-and-coming counterparts.

“Just know that you’re great and trust in God,” he said.

The singer, whose given name is Byomie Muir, got his break more than a decade ago with his single Stab Vampire. He is also known for the songs Lose A Friend, Love You, Mama You Alone, Wine and Jiggle, and Puff It.
