Following the acquisition of Mother’s Enterprises by Roots Financial Group, an evening cocktail was held on May 27 at The Summit (formerly Knutsford Court Hotel) with partners, suppliers, and customers joining the occasion. The newly appointed board joined the former owners as they enjoyed the famous Devon House line of patties and other products under the Mother’s group of companies. Dr Norman Dunn, Member of Parliament and state minister, Ministry of Industry Investment and Commerce, gave his remarks to the new team, which has been given the mission to “showcase the best of Jamaica”.
