Flow unveils new customer experience initiatives

COMMUNICATIONS and entertainment provider Flow says it is introducing fresh upgrades that will deliver an improved Internet and home entertainment experience to its customers.

The new initiatives, the company explained, are inspired by feedback from its customers through its contact centre, social media and in-person channels.

“We are committed to delivering a seamless experience to our customers, and to get there we have been actively listening to our customers, processing their feedback, and are now delivering some of the solutions,” a company release quotes Vice-President and General Manager Stephen Price.

The company, he explained, has responded with a three-pronged approach focused on connectivity, care and innovation.

“Fibre-fast technology is now accessible to over 60 per cent of Jamaican homes. We are working hard to bring 100 per cent of our customers on to our fibre-fast technology as soon as possible,” Price said as he pointed out that over the past three years, more than 800 communities have joined Flow’s fibre network.

The company also said it is addressing one of the main challenges for its customers by upgrading its network to be more resilient during power outages.

According to Flow, its increased focus on connectivity is complemented by its commitment to taking care of its customers. As such, since the beginning of the year Flow has proactively visited more than 10,000 customers’ homes to assess and improve every aspect of their experience — from rewiring to upgrading material or configuring devices.

“The response we’ve been getting from our customers is amazing and is encouraging us to double down even more to deliver superior service,” added Price.

The company said that in order to enhance the connectivity improvements and care initiatives it will also be introducing a suite of new products featuring gigabit Internet speeds, the latest smart Wi-Fi technology for Wi-Fi coverage in every corner of the home, and a new entertainment platform that will bring together all their customers’ favourite content in one place — from TV channels to streaming services.

“There’ll be more information very soon on these exciting innovations, so stay tuned,” Price said.
