In 2018, Ace Gawd shot onto the musical landscape with the trending hit Mark X and Axio.

Thrusted into the spotlight, the Porus, Manchester, native later followed up with songs, including Keep on Going, Battlefield, All I Want, Knocka, and Di Grinch.

Now, five years later, Ace Gawd is in album mode as he puts the final touches to his debut project titled Awake at 3 AM.

“Over the past few years I have evolved musically as an artiste because my fan base has substantially increased. I usually attract a younger crowd and now my listeners are from all age groups,” the now 26-year-old deejay disclosed in an interview with the Jamaica Observer.

No release date has been set for the project; however, the first single Sad Truth, produced by Pinado Records, was released on June 15.

Ace Gawd, whose real name is Sadeki McLarthy, recently celebrated his birthday in St Ann.

He is looking forward to putting out the project which he says has something for everyone.

“There are songs that everyone one can relate to. Reality songs, girl songs, and just about a song for the hard-working hustlers in the streets,” said Ace Gawd.
