WATCH: Kiprich creates commemorative tokens to honour slain 8-y-o Danielle Rowe
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Dancehall artiste Kiprich has created a variety of commemorative tokens aimed at honouring the memory of 8-year-old Danielle Rowe.
The entertainer presented the tokens to the Rowes at the repast held at the family’s home in Portmore, St Catherine.
Kiprich, whose real name is Marlon Plunkett, shared with OBSERVER ONLINE that prior to the tragic incident he had not known the Rowe family, however, he felt compelled to do something kind for the family.
“I’m here just to give the mother full support and the family members,” he said.
He noted that despite the tragic circumstance under which the 8-year-old died, honouring the youngster is a healthy way to grieve and ultimately help in the healing process.
“I mean based on how this heinous thing happened, I sat and said to myself what can comfort a mother or parents after losing their child in this manner. There’s nothing you can really do or say. but it’s just my way of showing my support to the family members…,” he added.
