Gas prices up $4.50, diesel up $3.06
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, July 27, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $4.50, 90-octane will be sold for $179.96 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $175.45 per litre up.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $166.53 per litre after an increase of $3.06 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $174.64 per litre up by $3.06.
Kerosene increased by $0.25 and will be sold for $173.72 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $61.57 per litre up by $0.89 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $69.40 per litre after an increase of $1.19.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
