Jamaica name ‘strongest team yet’ for Budapest World Champs

The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) has named a 65-member team for the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary later this month.

The squad comprises 33 females and 32 males.

JAAA President Garth Gayle describes it as arguably Jamaica’s strongest-ever team to a World Championships.

The championships run from August 19 to 27.
