Rain did little to put a damper on spirits at the July 30 edition of Wet N Wild. In fact it upped the vibes for thousands of patrons who, you guessed it, were already drenched.

The premier water party, held at Kool Runnings Waterpark in Negril, was aruguably the most well-attended party of the weekend.

Wet N Wild promoter Kamal Bankay was visibly elated at the event’s execution. “The expectation among patrons for Wet N Wild is always high, and we have to meet and exceed it each year. Dream WKND has developed a reputation for consistency in patron experience and this is one of the more immersive event experiences. The water activations, foam pit and the energy from the deejays brought the party to a high,” said Bankay.

The star-studded affair featured cameos from artistes Topman, who performed his hit song Gyal Code. Veteran dancehall selector Tony Matterhorn and Laa Lee also took to the stage briefly, entertaining the already-hyped crowd. The ‘drift’ dance creator Gabbidon also hit the stage, and was joined by patrons who engaged in various dance routines themselves.
