Wolmer’s come from behind to beat Vauxhall 4-2
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Wolmer’s Boys’ School recorded their second straight victory in this year’s ISSA Manning Cup competition with a come-from-behind 4-2 win over Vauxhall In Group G at the Mico University on Tuesday.
Jayden Walters (23rd), Nathaniel Brooks (26th), Addon Daye (43rd) and Dante Dacres (64th) were the goal scorers for the Jerome Waite-coached Wolmer’s.
Jevauni Cummings in the second minute and substitute Andre Williams in the 84th minute were the scorers for Vauxhall.
In the day’s other games, Campion College defeated Pembroke Hall 3-0, Denham Town beat Greater Portmore 3-1, St George’s College outclassed Ardenne 7-1, Waterford edged Jose Marti 1-0, and Haile Selassie got the better of Jonathan Grant 2-0. Meanwhile, St Jago whipped Donald Quarrie 3-1, Tivoli nipped Kingston Technical 1-0 and Papine got by Ascot 1-0.
