NHF’s CEO receives special award at MSBM’s 10th Anniversary Awards
Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Fund, Everton Anderson was awarded Outstanding Public Sector CEO at the Mona School of Business & Management’s (MSBM) 10th Anniversary Gala and Awards ceremony on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
The award was presented in recognition of his outstanding leadership in public health over the last two decades. Throughout his career, the MSBM alumnus has led numerous transformational initiatives in public health including serving as co-chair of the LINAC Steering Committee responsible for the establishment of the two new national cancer treatment ecntres. He led the transformation of the pharmaceutical warehouse improving drug availability and obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Additionally, Anderson successfully managed the takeover of public sector pharmacies leading to improved access and reduced wait times. Under his stewardship, there was a leap in customer focus with the introduction of same-day NHF card service.

This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire NHF team, who tirelessly strive to enhance healthcare accessibility and quality for all Jamaicans. I am proud of what we have achieved together, and I am inspired to continue our mission of serving the public with unwavering dedication and innovation,” Anderson said.
In October of 2022, Anderson received an Order of Distinction in the rank of Commander for his work in the development of health-care. He is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
