Business Social – September 24

THE Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Mining warmly welcomed a courtesy visit from Red Stripe’s recently appointed Managing Director Daaf Van Tilburg at the ministry’s headquarters in Kingston.

During the meeting both parties explored potential avenues for innovation within Jamaica’s agricultural sector, engaging in a productive discussion about the connections between the ministry’s policy objectives and Red Stripe’s operational initiatives; the existing challenges; and untapped potential within the agricultural landscape of Jamaica.

More awaits below from Business Social.

In connection with Red Stripe’s flagship Cassava Project, Minister Floyd Green and the Red Stripe team explore various aspects of the company’s supply chain with a view to identifying opportunities for seamless integration of the ministry’s plans into the company’s sustainability programmes. The conversation took place as part of a courtesy visit by Daaf Van Tilburg, who was recently appointed as managing director of Red Stripe.
