October 2, 2023

Monday, October 2, 2023

Friday, September 22, 2023 was an evening of celebration and gratitude. There was, too, a tinge of sadness as guests bade farewell to an amazing couple whose sojourn here in Jamaica had come to, an end.

The soirée, organised by the Total Energies Limited Jamaica team, saluted outgoing boss Christopher Okonmah and also, his attorney-at-law wife Mairo on their successful tour of duty. Okonmah was also lauded for his meritorious service to the multinational corporation from which he now retires.

Heartfelt speeches flowed as friends, business partners, politicos and members of the diplomatic corps lauded the affable CEO. Okonmah in his response highlighted the beautiful memories he and his family have created in Jamaica. “Jamaica will always hold a special place in my heart,” he said, as he thanked all present for their contribution towards his time in Jamaica.

Page 2 shares in the applause.
