Trelawny man accused of stealing car in Kingston
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – A 32-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly stole a vehicle along Arthur Wint drive, Kingston 5 in August.
Charged with larceny of motor vehicle and receiving stolen property is Paul Kerr, an electrician of Hague district, Falmouth, Trelawny.
Reports from the Stadium police are that a man parked his motor vehicle in an open lot and attended an event in the area. He returned and realised that the vehicle was missing.
A report was made to the police and an investigation was launched.
Acting on information, the police carried out an operation in Trelawny where Kerr was found in possession of the stolen vehicle on Thursday, September 14.
He was transported to St Andrew where he was subsequently charged.
Kerr is slated to attend Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday, October 6.
