T-13 Blind Cricket Championship second round set for Saturday
KINGSTON, Jamaica – It’s all to play for in the second round of the Brian Breese T-13 Blind Cricket Championship on Saturday after the first round saw all four teams gaining a point each after neither match was completed.
In the first match of last week’s double-header, Retina Warriors battled the Blind Royals.
The Warriors batted first and made 103 for 5 off their 13 overs with Oshane Fortella 24 and Haldane Ford 31 their chief run-scorers.
In their reply, Blind Royals romped to 69-2 before the game was abandoned.
In the other game, Cataract Strikers won the toss and inserted Supervision to take first strike.
In a game reduced to a 10-over affair, Supervision were propelled to 130-3 with Tyrese Harriot 62 and Jason Ricketts 24 the main run-getters.
Theador Subba was the chief destroyer for the Strikers, grabbing 2-19 from his 2 overs.
Cataract Strikers got to 60-2 before bad light ended play.
