PETROJAM reaffirmed its unyielding commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, products, and competitive pricing, all in the best interest of the Jamaican people. That reaffirmation came during Petrojam’s 2023 Customer Appreciation Event, held Friday, December 8 at the Jamaica Pegasus ballroom.

That was a celebration of Petrojam’s commitment to its customers, key stakeholders, and its dedication to delivering value-added products and services that set industry benchmarks.

Acknowledging the important role that Petrojam plays in Jamaica’s energy sector, General Manager Telroy Morgan highlighted the need to be consistently proactive and responsive to market changes. “We are fully seized of the integral role Petrojam must continue to play in this constantly evolving energy space. Jamaica’s energy future demands innovation, sustainability, and a strong customer-centric approach,” he stated, adding, “As Jamaica’s sole oil refinery we are determined to remain a strategic production centre, always proactively adapting to changing market demands.”

Morgan thanked the customers for their continued loyalty and support, noting that they are the cornerstone of the company’s success and, as such, Petrojam must always seek to deliver value beyond expectations.

Petrojam’s Deputy Chairman Metry Seaga echoed the sentiments, noting that the customers’ presence reaffirms the solid and enduring relationships the company has cultivated over the years. “This further underscores Petrojam’s role in assuring stakeholders of its operational integrity and accountability, strong governance framework, dedication to excellence, and pivotal position in the industry,” he stated.

Morgan provided insight into Petrojam’s ongoing initiatives, which include a re-evaluation of its Customer Loyalty Programme so as to enhance customer benefits and experience.

The event also highlighted Petrojam’s corporate social responsibility programme, particularly the UHWI Burn Care facility initiative. Guests were invited to support that worthy cause.
