Enterprise Jamaica raises the bar with all-new fleet
CAR rental company Enterprise Jamaica has refreshed its fleet of vehicles, in keeping with its commitment to ensure customers have access to the newest cars with the highest safety ratings.
The entity, which encompasses Enterprise Holdings International; ATL Automotive Car Rentals, the local franchisee of Enterprise Rent-A-Car; National Car Rental; and Alamo Rent a Car, has acquired the newest Honda CR-V, Kia Sonet, and Kia Seltos models, each with a host of features perfect for trips around the city or adventures off the beaten track.
“We received these new models ahead of the official tourism winter season, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. People want to hit the open road when they’re here in Jamaica — and who can blame them? The beaches, waterfalls, rivers, mountains are worth exploring. Plus, when they’re visiting they’re coming with their loved ones, friends or family, so space and convenience features — especially those found in our Honda and Kia fleet — are a must,” a company release quotes Andrea Nish-Earle, head of business, ATL Automotive Car Rental.
The latest CR-V is redesigned from the ground up to include improvements to the body, chassis, powertrain and overall driving refinement. It is equipped with a turbocharged, 1.5L engine and a wide range of features such as Apple CarPlay/Android Auto to keep customers connected and feeling at ease. It also has sizeable trunk space.
The Kia Sonet is a compact yet spacious SUV with sufficient ground clearance and advanced fuel efficiency that can manage both bumper-to-bumper city traffic and wide open country roads.
Meanwhile the Kia Sportage, a sports activity vehicle (SAV), shows its unique, head-turning design through its use of innovative technology and attention to detail. This vehicle redefines every understanding of space utilisation and boasts class-leading, second-row leg room space and more, along with new connectivity features and best-in-class infotainment.
Kia is globally known as one of the world’s leading automotive brands, racking up awards such as the JD Power Award that is based on feedback of verified car owners who have owned their new car for 90 days. The rating focuses on problems experienced by verified owners and has been shown over the years to be an excellent predictor of long-term durability.
ATL Automotive Car Rental said it expects demand to continue growing because of the increase in airline lifts to Jamaica, and recommends that people wishing to book do so early.
The firm said that ahead of each rental the units go through an extensive inspection to ensure that they are in perfect working condition and meet international standards. Additionally, upon return the units are charged to an in-house quality controller for a second round of examinations as safety is Enterprise Holding’s top priority.
Re-fleeting every two years is a part of Enterprise Holding’s commitment to safety and ensuring customers receive the best value for money.
