The ballroom at AC Hotel Kingston became the social epicentre Tuesday evening as hundreds of Digicel employees, past and present, the Rock’s senior corporate executives, former and current prime ministers, friends and family members of outgoing Digicel Chair Denis O’Brien convened to celebrate the legacy of the telecoms disruptor.
The well-executed nostalgic affair — kudos to Main Event, Digicel execs Peter Lloyd and Tari Lovell and the AC team — harked back to the halcyon days of Digicel and left many appreciative of the impact of a two-decade-plus journey built out from The Rock to the world.
Page 2 was roaming.
