Ian Silk is Jamming
Recording artiste Ian Silk has released a self-produced track under KB Production titled Jamming aimed at fostering positivity.
“The song is about having a good time, vibing with that special someone, or just even having a relaxed time with family and friends building that good energy,” the artiste told the Jamaica Observer.
Released on January 12, the single was arranged, recorded and mixed at Stingray Records in London.
Since its release, the song has been receiving positive feedback and a lot of love from audiences around the world, setting the tone for its potential success.
“My hope for this track is to reach as many people around the world to let them know that good reggae music is still being made and put out for them to enjoy. I hope when people listen to this song they can feel the good vibes,” he added.
With a style that can be described as grass roots reggae music, Ian Silk is a multifaceted musician who keeps a positive and conscious vibration through his sounds and messages. His past releases include Leave Her Alone, Higher Heights, Should I Ever Leave Again, and Back Stabber.
“I’ve been doing music for a very long time, from as far back as the 90s, and I’m still keeping the fire burning until this day. Even when I took a break, I was still writing and rehearsing,” the artiste revealed.
Ian Silk is currently putting plans in place for several projects to be released throughout the year.
“My goal for 2024 is to put in more hard work and make more good music for the people because good reggae music is still being played worldwide, and I have no plans of slowing down any time soon,” he said.
