Trelawny man charged with burglary
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – A 23-year-old man from Trelawny has been arrested and charged with burglary, wounding with intent and shooting with intent after he allegedly broke into a house in Red Hills, Clark’s Town in the parish on Saturday, January 13.
Charged is Murice Rose, otherwise called ‘Romario’, a delivery man of Panasus District, in Clarks Town.
Reports from the Falmouth Police are that about 10:20 pm, Rose and other men allegedly went to the mentioned address, pretending to be police officers.
They reportedly kicked open the front door of the dwelling house and opened gunfire at one of the complainants. They then made their escape on a stolen motorcycle.
Rose was subsequently arrested and charged after being pointed out during an identification parade.
His court date is being finalised.
